Social Injustice Project: Merchandise
Human trafficking, is one of the biggest problems in Thailand. To portray the situation at which
victims are forced into labor practices in fishing communities, three human figures are represent the captives in different psychological stages. The crystallized aluminum potassium sulfate symbolizes greed that gradually feeds on immorality, while the pile of money portrays the “grassroot” solution to the problem.
Identity Project: Chains of the Past
The painting captures several events and challenges that held me back from being true to myself during my childhood. After I’ve learned to counter fear with courage, I realized that I was able to gain new experiences and make good use of my opportunities. Likewise, the chain symbolizes fear and the bolt cutter represents how I was able to cut through that fear.
